Naperville Park District,
the second largest park district in Illinois and one of the most technologically advanced park districts in the United States, is situated approximately 30 miles west of Chicago. This growing community of more than 137,000 people recognized they needed a fully integrated system that could account for and maintain approximately 2,300 acres of overall land that was comprised of 130 parks, two golf courses, four sports complexes, two in-line skating/skateboarding facilities, one very unique aquatic facility, and a multitude of baseball, soccer, tennis, and basketball facilities. They needed a system that could be deployed throughout the entire park system with a very rapid implementation. They recognized that this could provide Naperville Parks with the highest return-on-investment possible with the least amount of disruption to their organization.
